1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to VALKORED.
At VALKORED, we believe that online shopping should be convenient, transparent and supported by fair customer service.
We understand that circumstances can change after an order has been placed. You may have selected an incorrect product, entered the wrong delivery information, changed your mind or experienced an unexpected delay.
Our Order Cancellation Policy explains how customers can request changes to or cancellation of purchases made through our official website, https://valkored.com.
This policy covers:
- Cancellation before dispatch.
- Cancellation after dispatch.
- Requests to change an existing order.
- International supplier and fulfilment arrangements.
- Cancellation caused by delayed delivery.
- Products that become unavailable.
- Partial order cancellations.
- Refund eligibility and processing.
- Statutory cancellation and consumer protection rights.
- Customer service and dispute resolution.
VALKORED serves customers in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Our cancellation procedures recognise that different countries provide different legal protections.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory cancellation right or other legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where mandatory consumer protection legislation provides greater rights than this policy, those statutory protections will prevail.
This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy and Privacy Policy.

3. OUR CANCELLATION COMMITMENT
VALKORED aims to provide a straightforward and transparent process for customers who need to cancel or modify an order.
We are committed to:
- Providing accurate information about order status.
- Explaining cancellation eligibility.
- Responding to enquiries professionally.
- Processing eligible cancellations appropriately.
- Communicating material delivery delays.
- Respecting statutory cancellation rights.
- Handling refunds in accordance with applicable law.
- Avoiding undisclosed or unlawful cancellation charges.
- Maintaining accountability for supplier-fulfilled purchases.
- Resolving customer concerns fairly.
We recognise that every order represents a customer’s trust in our business.
Our cancellation procedures are designed to balance reasonable fulfilment requirements with our contractual and legal responsibilities.
4. WHEN AN ORDER IS PLACED
When you place an order through VALKORED, the information provided is used to initiate the purchasing and fulfilment process.
This may involve:
- Payment authorisation.
- Order verification.
- Product availability checks.
- Supplier allocation.
- Warehouse processing.
- Packing and dispatch preparation.
- Shipping arrangements.
After submitting an order, customers will ordinarily receive an order acknowledgement by email.
An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted or dispatched.
The point at which a binding purchase contract is formed is governed by our Terms & Conditions, the relevant checkout information and applicable law.
Where a customer has made an offer to purchase that has not yet been accepted, the customer’s right to withdraw that offer will be respected in accordance with applicable law.
Once an order has been accepted, cancellation rights depend on the purchase agreement, order circumstances and relevant consumer protection legislation.
5. HOW TO REQUEST AN ORDER CANCELLATION
Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact our customer support team as soon as possible.
Email: support@valkored.com
Suggested Subject: Order Cancellation Request — #[Order Number]
Please include:
- Your order number.
- The full name used when purchasing.
- The email address associated with the order.
- The product or products you wish to cancel.
- Whether you wish to cancel the entire order or selected items.
- Any other relevant information.
Providing a reason for a voluntary cancellation may help our team understand your request, but we will not require customers to provide a reason when they are exercising a statutory right to cancel without one.
Customers may also contact:
Customer Service: cs@valkored.com
Customer Support Operating Hours: MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 9AM TO 5PM AWST
Customer Support Response Target: 1 - 2 DAYS
Where a legal right to cancel may be exercised by sending a clear cancellation statement, the effectiveness of that statement will not depend on when our team reads the email or approves the request.
Customers are encouraged to retain a copy of their cancellation correspondence.
6. CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH
We encourage customers to submit voluntary cancellation requests before the relevant products have been dispatched.
Early notification may make it easier to prevent further fulfilment activity.
Where a voluntary pre-dispatch cancellation is available under our published terms, we will process an eligible request in accordance with those terms.
VALKORED Voluntary Pre-Dispatch Cancellation Arrangement: ONCE ORDERS ARE DISPATCHED, THEY CANNOT BE CANCELLED.
Voluntary Cancellation Charges: NO FEE
Once a request is received, we may check the fulfilment status, contact the supplier or warehouse and determine whether dispatch can be stopped.
We will explain the outcome to the customer.
Where cancellation is confirmed, we will arrange any applicable refund in accordance with the purchase terms and relevant law.
A voluntary cutoff does not override a customer’s statutory right to cancel, withdraw an offer, or obtain a remedy.
For example, eligible UK customers may exercise their statutory cancellation right during the legally protected period even if the order has already entered processing.
7. CANCELLATION AFTER PROCESSING HAS STARTED
An order may enter processing shortly after payment verification.
Processing can involve supplier confirmation, warehouse preparation, packaging or creating shipping documents.
For voluntary cancellation requests, the possibility of stopping fulfilment depends on the order’s actual status and applicable cancellation terms.
Where the request is eligible and dispatch can be stopped, we will arrange cancellation accordingly.
Where dispatch cannot be stopped, the customer may need to follow the appropriate post-dispatch or return procedure.
We will provide clear information about the available options.
The creation of a shipping label or tracking number does not automatically mean an order has physically been dispatched.
Similarly, marking an order as “Processing” does not itself remove any legal right to cancel.
We will not rely solely on an internal order status to refuse a cancellation protected by law.
8. CANCELLATION AFTER DISPATCH
Where a parcel has already entered the delivery network, the available cancellation arrangements depend on the customer’s legal rights and the relevant fulfilment circumstances.
For voluntary cancellations, we may be unable to stop a parcel already travelling to its destination.
We may nevertheless be able to arrange an appropriate return, collection or other agreed solution.
Where cancellation rights apply by law, those rights will be honoured regardless of whether the order has been dispatched.
In particular, eligible UK customers may exercise their statutory distance-selling cancellation rights before or after delivery, subject to applicable exceptions.
Customers should contact VALKORED rather than independently attempting to redirect or return a parcel without clear instructions, where practical.
However, customers exercising a statutory right will not be required to obtain discretionary approval before that right becomes effective.
If goods are delivered after a valid statutory cancellation, we will provide the relevant return or collection instructions and comply with applicable refund obligations.
9. REQUESTING CHANGES TO AN ORDER
Customers may occasionally wish to modify an order instead of cancelling it.
Common requests include:
- Changing a delivery address.
- Correcting a recipient’s name.
- Changing a clothing size.
- Selecting another colour.
- Changing a product model or variation.
- Adjusting quantities.
- Removing an item.
- Adding another item.
- Changing the selected shipping method.
Please contact support@valkored.com as soon as possible.
We will review the request and advise whether the change can be accommodated.
9.1 Changes Before Dispatch
Certain changes may be possible before the order has been dispatched.
However, availability depends on the product, fulfilment provider, payment arrangements and actual processing status.
9.2 Changes After Dispatch
Once an item is in transit, changes may be restricted by the relevant delivery provider.
If a change is no longer possible, we will explain the available cancellation, return or alternative arrangements.
9.3 Changes Requiring Additional Payment
Where an agreed voluntary modification increases the order value or delivery cost, any additional charge will be disclosed and authorised before being collected.
9.4 Changes Reducing the Order Value
Where an agreed modification reduces the purchase price, an appropriate adjustment or refund will be processed.
No modification will remove the customer’s statutory rights.
10. CHANGING A DELIVERY ADDRESS
Customers should ensure their shipping details are accurate before submitting an order.
If you discover an incorrect address, please contact support@valkored.com promptly.
Include your order number, original address and requested correction.
Where appropriate, we may verify the request to protect against fraudulent order redirection.
Before dispatch, an address correction may be possible.
After dispatch, changes depend on the carrier and shipment status.
We cannot guarantee an address change once the parcel has entered the delivery network.
Where the error was caused by incorrect customer-provided information, any proposed additional costs must be lawful and consistent with the relevant disclosures and circumstances.
Where incorrect information or delivery failure results from VALKORED or our authorised service providers, we will meet our responsibilities under applicable law.
11. ADDING OR REMOVING PRODUCTS
Customers may request the removal of an item from an existing order.
We will determine whether the requested modification can be accommodated or whether a cancellation or refund is required.
Where only selected products are removed, the price, tax, delivery charge and promotional adjustments will be calculated appropriately.
Customers wishing to add products may be asked to place a separate order if our checkout or payment system cannot safely modify the original purchase.
We will not charge customers for additional products without their authorisation.
Where a product is added through an agreed modification, relevant delivery estimates and product information will be provided.
Any statutory cancellation or consumer rights relating to the original or modified order remain applicable.
12. PARTIAL ORDER CANCELLATIONS
A partial cancellation occurs when a customer wishes to cancel some, but not all, products in an order.
For example, a customer may purchase several household items and later request cancellation of one accessory.
Voluntary partial cancellations depend on the applicable purchase terms and the affected items’ fulfilment status.
Where partial cancellation is agreed or required by law, we will calculate the appropriate refund for the affected goods.
The calculation may include adjustments for:
- The cancelled product price.
- Applicable taxes.
- Attributable shipping charges.
- Discounts or promotional conditions.
- Other amounts that must legally be refunded.
Where cancellation rights apply to multiple goods supplied under one contract, the relevant statutory rules will determine their scope and operation.
We will not treat an accepted partial cancellation as permission to impose undisclosed charges.
13. MULTIPLE SUPPLIERS AND SEPARATE SHIPMENTS
VALKORED may fulfil orders through multiple suppliers, warehouses or distribution centres.
Consequently, one customer order may contain products processed at different locations.
For example, a fashion item, mobile phone accessory and home décor product may be dispatched separately.
Customers may receive different tracking numbers and estimated delivery dates for different products.
Where an order includes multiple shipments, customers should identify which items they wish to cancel.
We will review the relevant fulfilment status.
Some products may still be awaiting dispatch while others are already in transit.
However, separate shipment arrangements do not automatically divide a customer’s statutory rights or remove our contractual obligations.
For eligible UK orders containing multiple goods delivered separately, the statutory cancellation-period rules may calculate the deadline by reference to receipt of the last item, depending on the contract and relevant legislation.
We will assess cancellation requests accordingly.
14. INTERNATIONAL SUPPLIERS AND FULFILMENT ARRANGEMENTS
VALKORED may source and fulfil products through authorised international suppliers, wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors and third-party logistics providers.
Some products may be dispatched directly from an overseas supplier rather than from a warehouse operated by VALKORED.
Supplier-direct fulfilment may involve additional processing stages.
These arrangements can include:
- Supplier inventory confirmation.
- Product allocation.
- International warehouse preparation.
- Export documentation.
- Customs processing.
- International transportation.
- Local carrier delivery.
Where customers request cancellation, we may communicate with the relevant fulfilment partner to stop or modify the shipment.
VALKORED remains the customer-facing retailer for products purchased directly from valkored.com unless another contractual seller was clearly identified before purchase.
Customers are not required to resolve supplier disputes independently to obtain a remedy that VALKORED is legally responsible for providing.
We will not automatically refuse a statutory cancellation or refund because an overseas supplier has received payment, accepted the fulfilment request, generated a tracking number or refused to cancel its internal transaction.
Supplier arrangements do not override mandatory consumer protections.
15. CANCELLATION DUE TO PRODUCT UNAVAILABILITY
Occasionally, a product may become unavailable after an order is submitted.
Possible reasons include:
- Supplier inventory changes.
- Product discontinuation.
- Stock record discrepancies.
- Manufacturing interruptions.
- Supply chain restrictions.
- Product safety concerns.
- Import or shipping restrictions.
Where we cannot supply an accepted order, we will contact the customer and explain the circumstances.
Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- Cancellation and an appropriate refund.
- A revised fulfilment timeframe, subject to legal requirements and customer agreement where necessary.
- A suitable replacement product, subject to the customer’s agreement.
We will not automatically substitute a materially different product without consent.
If the ordered product cannot be supplied and the customer is entitled to a refund, we will provide that refund in accordance with applicable law.
We will not retain payment indefinitely while waiting for a supplier to replenish unavailable stock.
16. CANCELLATION BECAUSE OF DELIVERY DELAYS
We understand that delivery times may influence a customer’s purchasing decision.
A customer may purchase a product for a birthday, event, holiday, personal requirement or another time-sensitive purpose.
We aim to communicate realistic delivery timeframes before purchase.
Where a delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to inform the customer and explain the available options.
Depending on the destination and circumstances, customers may have a right to:
- Request delivery within an appropriate timeframe.
- Reject a proposed delay.
- Cancel the order.
- Obtain a refund.
- Exercise other applicable statutory remedies.
We will not automatically require customers to accept indefinite delivery delays.
Where cancellation is legally required because of late or failed fulfilment, we will comply with the applicable refund requirements.
17. DELIVERY DELAYS — AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMERS
Australian customers may have remedies where purchased goods are not supplied as agreed or within a reasonable period.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, businesses must not accept payment for products where they do not intend to supply them or know, or should know, that they cannot supply them within the promised or otherwise reasonable timeframe.
Where VALKORED becomes aware of a material fulfilment delay, we will provide accurate information about the issue and available solutions.
A customer’s rights will depend on the purchase agreement, the circumstances and applicable consumer law.
Where cancellation and a refund are legally required, we will provide the appropriate remedy.
Supplier delays, overseas dispatch arrangements and internal order processing procedures will not be treated as automatically removing those obligations.
18. DELIVERY DELAYS — UNITED KINGDOM CUSTOMERS
For UK consumer purchases, goods must generally be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is entered into unless a different delivery period has been agreed.
If goods are not delivered within the applicable period, the customer may have the right to require delivery within an appropriate additional period.
In certain circumstances, the customer may be entitled to cancel without first allowing an additional period.
These circumstances can include situations where delivery within the agreed period was essential under the applicable statutory rules.
Where a UK customer lawfully terminates a contract for failure to deliver, we will comply with the applicable reimbursement obligations.
These protections are separate from the ordinary statutory right to cancel eligible distance-sales purchases without giving a reason.
19. DELIVERY DELAYS — UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS
Orders covered by the United States Federal Trade Commission’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule are subject to specific shipping and refund protections.
For covered transactions, VALKORED must have a reasonable basis for expecting to ship merchandise within the advertised timeframe.
Where no shipping timeframe is specified, the Rule generally requires a reasonable basis for expecting shipment within 30 days, subject to its exceptions.
If we cannot ship within the applicable timeframe, we will comply with the Rule’s requirements.
Depending on the circumstances, this includes:
- Providing appropriate notice of the delay.
- Explaining the customer’s right to cancel.
- Offering the legally required opportunity to consent to a revised shipping period.
- Obtaining affirmative consent where required.
- Cancelling an order where required.
- Issuing a prompt refund within the applicable legal timeframe.
Where the Rule gives a customer a right to cancel before shipment, we will provide an adequate way to exercise that right.
We will not assume that silence constitutes consent to a delay except where the Rule expressly permits that approach and all required conditions have been satisfied.
Additional state consumer protection legislation may also apply.
20. UNITED KINGDOM — STATUTORY RIGHT TO CANCEL ONLINE PURCHASES
Eligible UK consumers making purchases through our website generally have a statutory right to cancel qualifying distance-sales contracts without providing a reason.
This right is provided by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
20.1 When the Cancellation Right Begins
For a qualifying distance-sales contract, the statutory cancellation period begins when the contract is entered into.
This means eligible customers may exercise their right to cancel before their goods have been delivered.
20.2 The 14-Day Period After Delivery
For an ordinary qualifying purchase of goods, the statutory cancellation period generally ends 14 days after the day on which the customer, or an eligible nominated recipient, receives the goods.
Different calculation rules may apply to orders involving multiple goods delivered separately, goods delivered in instalments or qualifying regular deliveries.
20.3 Cancellation Without Giving a Reason
Eligible customers do not need to explain why they wish to cancel.
Customers may cancel because of personal preference, a change of mind or another reason.
20.4 How to Exercise the Right
Customers may notify VALKORED by sending a clear statement to:
Suggested Subject: UK Statutory Cancellation — Order #[Order Number]
A cancellation notice may also be submitted using the model form at the end of this policy.
Using that particular form is optional.
Where a cancellation statement is sent before the end of the statutory period, its validity is assessed in accordance with the applicable rules, not merely by when VALKORED reads or processes it.
20.5 Additional Information Requirements
Where legally required cancellation information has not been supplied, the statutory cancellation period may be extended under the relevant legislation.
VALKORED will comply with those requirements.
20.6 Exceptions
Certain products and transactions may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.
Relevant exceptions are described later in this policy.
These exceptions do not remove separate statutory remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods.
21. UNITED KINGDOM — RETURNING GOODS AFTER CANCELLATION
Where a UK customer exercises a qualifying statutory cancellation right after receiving goods, the customer generally has a further 14 days after notifying VALKORED to send them back.
Customers should contact VALKORED for the applicable return instructions.
UK Returns Address: 81 PARCEL LOCKER, AVELEY 6069
Where the customer is legally responsible for direct return costs, this responsibility must have been properly disclosed and must comply with applicable law.
Where VALKORED has agreed to collect the goods, the relevant collection arrangements will apply.
Customers may inspect goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, comparable to examining them in a physical shop.
Where permitted by law, a deduction may be made for diminished value resulting from handling beyond that necessary for this purpose.
Any such deduction will be applied only in accordance with statutory conditions.
We will not require customers to obtain discretionary cancellation approval before exercising a valid statutory cancellation right.
22. UNITED KINGDOM — REFUNDS FOLLOWING STATUTORY CANCELLATION
Where a qualifying UK cancellation applies, VALKORED will reimburse the amounts required by law.
For a qualifying cancellation of an entire order, this generally includes the purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered, where applicable.
If a customer selected a more expensive delivery method, the additional premium above the qualifying standard delivery cost does not ordinarily have to be reimbursed.
Refunds will be processed without undue delay and within the applicable statutory deadline.
Where goods have already been delivered and VALKORED has not offered to collect them, the relevant reimbursement deadline is generally no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or receive evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Where the goods have not been supplied, or where VALKORED has agreed to collect them, the applicable refund deadline generally runs from notification of cancellation.
Refunds will ordinarily be made using the same payment method originally used, unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise.
We will not impose a refund administration fee for exercising a statutory cancellation right.
Nothing in this section restricts separate legal remedies for faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods.
23. AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMERS — CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATION
Australian consumer law does not generally create an automatic entitlement to cancel a purchase simply because a customer changes their mind.
Examples of change-of-mind reasons include:
- Finding a lower price elsewhere.
- Choosing the wrong colour.
- Deciding the product is no longer wanted.
- Changing personal preferences.
- Purchasing an item that is unnecessary.
Where VALKORED offers a voluntary cancellation arrangement, the published conditions will apply.
Australian Voluntary Cancellation Policy: ANY ORDERS CAN BE CANCELLED VOLUNTARILY BEFORE DISPATCH. ONCE ORDERS HAVE BEEN DISPATCHED, THEY ARE NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR CANCELLATION.
Where a voluntary cancellation benefit has been offered and forms part of the customer’s purchase terms, VALKORED will honour that commitment.
This does not affect mandatory consumer rights concerning faulty products, misleading descriptions, non-delivery or other legally protected circumstances.
Customers may refer to our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy for additional information about post-delivery rights.
24. UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS — VOLUNTARY CANCELLATION
For ordinary online purchases in the United States, there is no universal federal right to cancel every transaction simply because the customer changes their mind.
The FTC’s Cooling-Off Rule concerning certain sales made at homes or other covered locations does not establish a general three-day cancellation right for ordinary online shopping.
However, customers may have cancellation rights under:
- Applicable state law.
- The purchase contract.
- A voluntary retailer cancellation policy.
- The FTC’s rules governing delayed online orders.
- Other applicable consumer protection legislation.
US Voluntary Cancellation Policy: ORDERS CAN BE CANCELLED BEFORE DISPATCH AND WILL INCUR A CHARGE FOR ANY HANDLING THAT HAD OCCURED INCLUDING ANY PACKAGING. ONCE ORDERS ARE DISPATCHED, THEY CANNOT BE CANCELLED.
We will comply with applicable federal and state requirements.
Where a legal right to cancel exists, VALKORED will not remove it through internal processing policies or supplier arrangements.
25. CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL PRODUCT CATEGORIES
Certain products may be subject to special fulfilment considerations or statutory cancellation exceptions.
These may include:
25.1 Personalised or Custom-Made Goods
Products manufactured or personalised to a customer’s individual specifications may be excluded from certain statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights where the applicable law provides for that exception.
However, faulty or misdescribed products remain subject to mandatory consumer protections.
25.2 Hygiene-Sensitive Products
Certain sealed personal care or hygiene-sensitive goods may be excluded from eligible UK statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights if they are genuinely unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed following delivery.
The exception does not automatically apply to every underwear, beauty or personal care product.
25.3 Perishable Products
Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly may qualify for applicable statutory exceptions.
25.4 Sealed Software or Media
Certain sealed software, audio or video recordings may be subject to statutory cancellation exceptions after unsealing.
25.5 Products With Special Shipping Restrictions
Some electronics, batteries, fragile products or oversized goods may require special handling or return arrangements.
These handling requirements do not automatically remove a customer’s legal right to cancel or obtain a remedy.
25.6 Additional Category-Specific Conditions
Where product-specific cancellation restrictions lawfully apply, relevant conditions will be clearly disclosed before purchase.
VALKORED will not use general “final sale”, “no cancellation” or “no refund” statements to deny mandatory consumer rights.
26. CANCELLATION OF PRE-ORDERS AND BACKORDERS
If VALKORED introduces pre-order or backorder products, the applicable purchasing conditions will be disclosed before checkout.
These should include:
- Whether the product is currently available.
- The expected fulfilment or dispatch period.
- Any material supply uncertainty.
- The payment arrangements.
- Relevant cancellation rights.
- The process for handling delays or unavailable stock.
A pre-order does not remove statutory consumer protections.
Where the customer has a legal right to cancel because of a delay, failure to supply or another protected circumstance, VALKORED will honour that right.
Pre-Order and Backorder Cancellation Rules: Not applicable. VALKORED does not currently offer pre-orders or backorders.
27. CANCELLATION BY VALKORED
In certain legitimate circumstances, VALKORED may be unable to accept or fulfil an order.
Potential reasons include:
- Product unavailability.
- A legal restriction preventing supply.
- A product safety issue.
- Failure of payment authorisation.
- Reasonable evidence of fraudulent activity.
- An unsupported delivery destination.
- A material technical or pricing error addressed in accordance with applicable law.
- Other circumstances where cancellation is legally or contractually permitted.
Where an order has not yet been accepted, we may decline it for a lawful and legitimate reason.
Once a binding contract has been formed, any proposed cancellation by VALKORED will be subject to the applicable contractual and legal requirements.
We will not assume a general unrestricted right to cancel accepted orders merely because fulfilment has become commercially inconvenient.
Where VALKORED lawfully cancels an order after receiving payment, we will provide the appropriate refund within the applicable timeframe.
Customers will not be charged a cancellation fee where VALKORED itself is unable to fulfil an order and the law requires a refund.
28. PRICING ERRORS AND PAYMENT VERIFICATION
Although we aim to maintain accurate prices and product information, occasional technical or administrative errors may occur.
If we identify a material pricing error before accepting an order, we may contact the customer to explain the correct amount and available options.
We will not charge a revised price without the customer’s authorisation.
Where the order has already been accepted, any proposed cancellation or adjustment will depend on the applicable contract law and consumer protection requirements.
For security reasons, we may undertake reasonable checks concerning payment authorisation or suspected fraud.
Where an order cannot lawfully proceed, we will explain the issue as appropriate and arrange any required refund or release of payment authorisation.
We will not use fraud prevention or pricing verification as a pretext to avoid legitimate contractual obligations.
29. CANCELLATION AND PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTS
Some orders may include promotional codes, bundle discounts, free-shipping offers or other incentives.
Where a voluntary cancellation affects a promotional order, we may need to recalculate the remaining order value in accordance with the promotional terms disclosed at purchase.
Any recalculation must be lawful and transparent.
We will not retrospectively introduce undisclosed fees or make deductions inconsistent with mandatory consumer rights.
Where the customer is entitled to a statutory refund, the amount will be calculated according to applicable legislation.
Gift cards, loyalty points or promotional credits, if offered in the future, may have additional terms.
Such terms will not override statutory cancellation or refund entitlements.
30. REFUND ELIGIBILITY FOLLOWING CANCELLATION
A cancellation refund may be available where:
- A voluntary cancellation is accepted under the applicable purchase terms.
- The customer exercises a statutory cancellation right.
- VALKORED cannot supply the purchased product.
- A material delivery delay gives rise to a cancellation entitlement.
- An order is lawfully cancelled before fulfilment.
- A product or transaction fails an applicable consumer protection requirement.
- Another refund entitlement arises under applicable law or the purchase agreement.
The refund amount may depend on whether cancellation is full or partial and whether goods were delivered.
Where legally required, refunds will include relevant taxes and shipping charges.
Where a voluntary cancellation falls outside mandatory statutory rights, any lawful and properly disclosed conditions will apply.
VALKORED will communicate the relevant refund calculation where necessary.
31. REFUND METHOD
Refunds will ordinarily be made through the original payment method where practicable and consistent with applicable law.
This may include:
- Refunds to the original eligible payment card.
- Refunds through the digital wallet used for payment.
- Refunds through another authorised payment provider.
- An alternative lawful arrangement agreed with the customer.
Where the original payment method cannot receive a refund, VALKORED may contact the customer to arrange a suitable alternative.
We may undertake reasonable identity and transaction verification measures to protect against fraud.
Customers should not send complete card numbers, payment card security codes or banking passwords through ordinary email.
A refund required by law will not be replaced with store credit without the customer’s agreement where such substitution is not legally permitted.
32. REFUND PROCESSING TIMEFRAMES
VALKORED aims to process eligible refunds promptly.
Internal Refund Processing Target: 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS
Payment providers and financial institutions may require additional time to display an initiated refund in the customer’s account.
However, internal administrative targets and banking processes do not override applicable statutory refund deadlines.
In particular:
Australia
Refunds and remedies will be provided within the timeframe required by applicable consumer law and the circumstances.
United Kingdom
Where the statutory distance-selling cancellation provisions apply, reimbursement must comply with the relevant timing and payment-method requirements.
United States
Where the FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule applies, required refunds must be issued promptly within the applicable legal requirements.
Customers may contact support@valkored.com to enquire about a refund.
Where a card payment was only authorised but never captured, the appropriate process may involve releasing or allowing the authorisation hold to expire rather than issuing a refund of a completed charge.
The time it takes for an authorisation hold to disappear may depend on the financial institution.
33. SHIPPING FEES AND CANCELLATION
The treatment of shipping charges following cancellation depends on the reason for cancellation, the relevant agreement and applicable law.
33.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch
Where an order is lawfully cancelled before dispatch, VALKORED will refund the relevant delivery charges where required by the applicable cancellation terms or law.
33.2 UK Statutory Cancellation
For a qualifying cancellation of an entire order, the original delivery charge must generally be reimbursed up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered, subject to applicable legal rules.
33.3 Delayed or Failed Delivery
Where a cancellation arises because VALKORED failed to fulfil the relevant legal obligations, applicable delivery charges will be refunded as required by law.
33.4 Voluntary Cancellation
For a voluntary cancellation outside statutory rights, shipping charges will be handled according to the properly disclosed and lawful purchase terms.
33.5 Partial Cancellation
Where only selected items are cancelled, any delivery refund or recalculation will depend on the relevant legal requirements, order structure and previously disclosed charges.
No blanket non-refundable shipping statement will override mandatory consumer rights.
34. INTERNATIONAL TAXES, DUTIES AND CANCELLATIONS
International orders may involve goods and services taxes, value added taxes, sales taxes, import duties or other government charges.
The refund treatment of these charges depends on:
- The destination country.
- Applicable tax legislation.
- The shipping arrangement.
- The party that collected the charge.
- The reason for cancellation.
- Whether the goods were imported or cleared through customs.
Where VALKORED is legally required to refund taxes or other charges collected through the transaction, we will comply.
Charges paid directly to customs authorities or independent third parties may be subject to separate refund or adjustment procedures.
We will provide appropriate assistance and information where reasonably possible.
We will not promise refunds of government charges that are outside our control unless reimbursement is legally required or expressly agreed.
35. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Customers may have rights to dispute payments through their bank, card issuer or payment provider.
If you believe an order has been incorrectly charged or a refund has not been provided, you may contact our customer support team for assistance.
Customers may also exercise any lawful payment dispute rights independently.
VALKORED may provide relevant order and transaction records to the payment provider when responding to a dispute.
We will not impose unlawful penalties or retaliate against customers for exercising legitimate payment dispute rights.
Payment disputes do not remove our obligations under applicable consumer legislation.
36. CANCELLATION REQUESTS INVOLVING SUSPECTED FRAUD
We may investigate cancellation requests where there are reasonable grounds to suspect unauthorised account access, fraudulent payment activity or another security concern.
This may involve verifying:
- The relevant order.
- The identity or authority of the requester.
- The original payment method.
- The order’s fulfilment status.
- Any suspected unauthorised changes.
We will request only information reasonably necessary for the investigation.
Fraud prevention measures will be proportionate and consistent with applicable privacy and consumer protection law.
Where a payment or order is confirmed to be unauthorised, we will handle the matter in accordance with relevant legal and payment-provider requirements.
Security investigations will not be used to frustrate legitimate cancellation rights.
37. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are encouraged to:
- Review product details before ordering.
- Confirm product sizes and variations.
- Check the total price and delivery charges.
- Verify billing and delivery information.
- Submit voluntary cancellation requests promptly.
- Provide the relevant order number when contacting support.
- Retain confirmation and cancellation emails.
- Follow reasonable return or collection instructions where applicable.
- Communicate respectfully with our customer service team.
These recommendations support efficient service and do not create conditions that unlawfully restrict consumer rights.
38. CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND COMPLAINT RESOLUTION
We aim to respond to order cancellation enquiries respectfully, fairly and professionally.
If you are dissatisfied with a cancellation decision, please contact:
Customer Service: cs@valkored.com
General Enquiries: info@valkored.com
Include your order number and relevant previous correspondence.
We will review the circumstances and assess the request according to the applicable terms and legal requirements.
Customers retain the right to contact relevant consumer protection authorities, payment providers, regulators or courts.
Nothing in this policy prevents access to lawful complaint or dispute resolution processes.
39. RELEVANT CONSUMER PROTECTION AUTHORITIES
Customers seeking independent information about their legal rights may consult the relevant government authority.
